Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::_error (596) Unable to login to SN: Invalid mysqueezebox_com username or password. I get the following log entries on the media log: I use a powerline ethernet setup for 2 players, wireless for one, and one is directly connected to my router. Players have always worked fine but suddenly will not connect to the music server. Running my media server on a Windows 7 desktop. My next stap will be to uninstall / reinstall on the PC. Still, I'm afraid to dump all the folders back in the music share and scan because I can't wait for days to scan this collection.Īny advice greatly appreciated - I would love the NAS to do the work, but have yet to find a solution to that. I assume it will run through each song and check if it has changed and that time is adding up every new scan. I added the B folders and so on, rescanning each time for just 'new and changed'. The first time with the letter A, I selected 'Clear Library' scan. I moved all the subfolders and ran a complete new scan on the empty library location ( I have tried both a mapped drive x:\music and the UNC \\diskstation\music. The scan takes forever! In fact, it was relatively fast up to around track 25,000 and then it would take an hour to scan another 50. In frustration, I installed the latest 7.7 LMS on the PC. I fiddled with some settings ( Turned off all plug-ins, set new music scan to 100,000. It showed all the folders as 'empty' and only indexed a couple hundred songs. I tried installing the LMS package ( 7.7.2-007 ) on the NAS device first. My collection is in the format \\diskstation\music\artist1, \\diskstation\music\artist2, etc I also have a PC always on that is 32-bit Win7, Dual-Core E5200 2.5Ghz 4Gb RAM My music files are stored on a Synology Diskstation DS413j DSM 4.2 The Duet is firmware 77 and is connected both wireless and CAT5. So I bought a used Duet to try to get around this issue. I had a Sonos until I discovered it has an internal limit on how many songs it can catalog - In my case, it couldn't handle my 51,000 track collection. I've set all scanner logs to debug and what I think I'm seeing is that scanner.exe doesn't know where my music is. If I then do a scan for new and changed it finds all the music just fine. If I do a clear and rescan SBS finds nothing, but it does clear the DB. I just installed SBS 7.6.1 on a new laptop running Win7 圆4.
